Why do your products show no pricing?

  • Our products don’t have pricing because we like to give you the best pricing we possibly can and with pricing always changing from different manufactures. Contact Us or fill in our Quote Form for pricing on equipment.

Stock availability?

  • Stock availability won’t be checked until you are ready to place an order with us. If the manufacture doesn’t have stock, you will be advise from us on an ETA or we will match it with a similar product. Stock levels are always fluctuating. So it’s always best to get your order in early.

What if my goods are damaged?

  • Damaged Goods – If an item is received and is faulty in any way, other than from transport damage, you should notify Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment immediately by phone or email listing your contact name, address, phone, invoice number and details of the fault. Check all items before signing for them. Please do not sign for and accept deliveries if the goods are obviously damaged in transit.
  • We don’t cover damage for goods being picked up by the customer direct from our warehouse or manufacturer’s warehouse.

What are the warranties on equipment?

  • Warranty – All equipment sold by Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd is supported by the manufacturer’s warranty period and any terms and conditions that may apply under said warranty.
  • There are two types of standard warranty normally available for commercial use:
    • Onsite warranty – applicable to items weighing over 40 kilograms
    • Return to manufacturer warranty – applicable to smaller bench top equipment. Transport costs and arrangements associated with back to manufacturer warranties are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Are the goods insured during delivery?

  • Insurance – Insurance for goods in transit is not included in the purchase price. If insurance is required by the purchaser it must be arranged by the purchaser either direct with the carrier or with Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd.

Customer Responsibility

  • As the customer who is requiring the products, it remains your responsibility to ensure that all items are correct and that the information supplied is also correct.
  • With over thousands of items displayed on our website, sometimes the information as listed is incorrect or not up to date and while we always try to display the correct product information, mistakes can be made.

Product Brochures

  • All products Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd have brochures available. These brochures can be email to you, sometimes the information listed on brochures may be incorrect or not up to date and while we always try to display the correct product information, mistakes can be made.

Retention of Title

  • All goods remain the property of Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd until they are paid for in full.

Shipping

Where do you deliver in Australia?

  • We deliver Australia wide, our head office is base in Melbourne, but we have warehouse Australia wide with stock ready for dispatch to you.

What about deliveries?

  • All deliveries are made on the following basis:
  • All deliveries are made to kerbside (or dock) for delivery. The purchaser acknowledges that it is their responsibility to provide labour and equipment to unload and position the goods on site at the purchaser’s expense.
  • For deliveries outside the metropolitan areas listed, all transport is at the purchaser’s expense and must be organised through Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd prior to shipping. It is possible to organize your own shipping.
  • Transport costs, where applicable, is always an extra cost and is non refundable.
  • Insurance for goods in transit is not included in the purchase price. If insurance is required by the purchaser, it must be arranged by the purchaser either direct with the carrier or Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd
  • Purchase price does not include unpacking, placement or positioning of equipment or connection to services or removal of rubbish and packing crates.
  • It is the Purchaser responsibility to check that all items will fit into position when purchasing from Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd. It is advise to check sizing of all doors to much sure equipment will fit though these.
  • Extra charges will apply if equipment must go upstairs, over counters or under doorways.

What about deliveries outside Metro Area?

  • Yes, Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd delivers Australia wide. All our main suppliers have distribution centres in the major capital cities of Australia. We also maintain strong ties with the major transport companies so the cost of deliveries is not expensive.
  • Please call our sales office on 1300 426 263 for a delivery quote. Please note it may take up to 1 business day to have a full quote on delivery for you. Longer if you require more than 3 items.

Delivery Times

  • Delivery times are estimates only. Please note these times can be delayed due to customs clearance and transport delays, which are out of our control. Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd will work with our customers to try and obtain a positive solution when a delay affects your delivery.

Does Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd export outside Australia?

  • Yes, but terms are Ex-Warehouse, it Is the Purchaser’s responsibility to organize freight.

Payment & Finance

What type of payments do you take?

  • Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd takes payment in a form of Bank Deposit, Cash, Cheque, Credit Cards – (Visa and MasterCard) – Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd reserves the right to claim back any credit card fees that are applied to the transaction. For Visa & MasterCard this would amount to 1.5% of the total cost. Amex is not excepted.

What type of finance do you offer?

Cancel & Return Goods

Can I cancel my order?

  • Cancellations – orders may be cancelled on the following basis:
  • That the cancellation is received prior to commencement of manufacture for special orders.
  • If the equipment is a stock item cancellation must be received three (3) working days prior to shipping
  • A cancellation or re-stocking fee may apply, being a minimum of 25% of the purchase price.

Can I return my goods?

  • Return of Goods – goods returned for credit (other than damaged goods as listed above) will not be accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd.
  • All returned goods are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee, and will only be accepted if returned in original condition and if the manufacturer / supplier agreed to this, in original packaging with all original instruction booklets, warranty cards and documents.
  • If the returned item has been used in any way, it will be deemed to be second hand and no credit will be issued.
  • Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Pty Ltd will always try to work with our customers to achieve the best possible result.
